SCS Technaseal specialise in the breaking up and removal of large concrete areas.
Bursting is used to remove large concrete structures such as floors, walls and pillars.
Holes are drilled in the concrete structure and the burster head is inserted. Hydraulic pressure is
provided by a motor, the build up of lateral forces against the inside of the holes induces
cracks in the concrete. The process is repeated until the whole structure is fractured into smaller
sections and ready for removal.
Crunchers are hydraulic jaws used for crushing and breaking concrete.
As long as there is a free or open edge available the jaws are closed over the concrete crushing it
into small pieces. This process is virtually dust and vibration free and there is no need to predrill
holes as in bursting.
By combining all our services we can carry out the controlled removal of complete staircases,
floors, walls etc.
These methods eliminate the risk of HAV and the use of noisy breaking equipment.
